VMworld 2009 – In-n-Out Burger Run

After you run the 10k on Monday evening what else do you have to do in the evening at VMworld? I know many of you will be shining your shoes and getting your top hats ready putting on your Ball Gowns for some big vendor party. Before that though, on Tuesday or Wednesday at 5:30 or 6 pm I will try to lead an expedition to a California classic, In-n-Out burger. For those of us exiled from California it is common to make In-n-Out a destination when we visit. Sound like you are a native Californian and order something not on the menu. Like a “4×4 Animal Style” – 4 beef patties, 4 pieces of cheese and all the onions and whatnot grilled to perfection.

So let me know if you are interested and while try to organize a meetup and trolley/train/cab/bus/walk over.

  1. Gah! It’s killing me that you’re going to be so close in L.A. and I can’t make it! But enjoy the In-N-Out run! To all non-Californians reading this, I *HIGHLY* recommend making the run. You won’t regret it! I’m fortunate enough to have one up here in Prescott. 8^D

    1. Actually San Francisco, so it would be a gnarly drive for you. I was excited to find out there was a In-n-Out at Fishermans Wharf area.

  3. I forgot about the 3×3!!! I may have to eat those to build up for the 4×4.

And the animal style is just standard for me…I didn’t think it was a “secret” 8^D

  7. Count me in, been dieing to try an In-n-Out since my fellow co-worker that recently moved from Cali to Colorado won’t stop talking about. Should be a treat, go big, it’s the 4×4 for me fellas 😀 Now if I can just dip out of the Long Distance VMotion session 10-15 minutes early I won’t be late.

  9. I’m in! I lived in Orange County for 7 years and no trip to California is ever complete without a run to In-N-Out. Also need to do an El Pollo Loco run.

Where are we meeting up to go? Moscone is obviously very big. You can Tweet me too: http://twitter.com/HPstorageGuy. I can almost taste the animal style now.
